This has been by far my most viewed post on this blog and I hope it has helped direct some runner's decision as to which trail shoe to purchase. After many many additional miles in even more challenging conditions and distances, all I can say is this shoe only gets better with age! Once again the only issue I have had with it is some lacing troubles (coming untied or loosening up when wet). Thanks again to everyone for checking out this review. Though this is way late, lollypai asked if this shoe would be recommended for a forefoot striker, and since this is primarily my running style on the trails I would definitely recommend it!Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10658983375331802829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4854208520199155251.post-86685589978593749322011-07-14T04:49:54.939-07:002011-07-14T04:49:54.939-07:00Wow, you do a great review. I always get nervous when they come out with a new version of a shoe I really like (Adrenalines, Cascadias, etc...) so it's very helpful to have a real runner give a perspective. Thanks again!Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00468084339930548494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4854208520199155251.post-53517121557634715452011-03-15T10:22:41.239-07:002011-03-15T10:22:41.239-07:00heck, great review, that's for all the miles! ...heck, great review, that's for all the miles! Like you, I loved my old Cascadias and all the changes in the 6's made me warry to buy them until I heard some solid reviews from actual runners (as opposed to hearing it from a paid sales rep.) I was earnestly hoping the new lug design would improve the wet rock traction but it sounds like we'll have to wait for a giant breakthrough in outsole technology for that to happen. Keep running and keep posting!Andrewnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4854208520199155251.post-36947658595617236262011-02-25T20:04:08.500-08:002011-02-25T20:04:08.500-08:00Those sound like some REALLY impressive shoes. It will be interesting to see if my shoes can handle the rigorous terrain of trail running. I doubt it.

Its amazing how much technology is getting into shoes now. Who would have ever thought of any of the stuff that is in or on your shoe now even probably 5 years ago. It will be interesting to see in 5 years where running shoes will be.

Lastly, almost another month down and we get that much closer to quite possibly one of the most EPIC runs anyone has ever done. Its going to be an absolutely AMAZING experience. I am STOKED! VERY NICE shoe report.

p.s. I see you put labels on this last post, but I do not see a place where I can click on your labels. Are they going to be added in the near future?Timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03448864463650485356noreply@blogger.com
